August 1st to the 4th 2014

This year the rally is being held in our beautiful National Capital and hosted by CMC 011 Ottawa. It will take place August 1 to 4, 2014, the August long weekend, and will be held at the Ottawa Municipal Campground, 411 Corkstown Road, Nepean Ontario. This is the same location as 2011 but that’s where the similarity ends!

Register early and we'll see you there!

The Event has two main goals. The first is to be a fun, family oriented weekend celebrating the sport of riding motorcycles.

The second, and equally important goal, is to be a fundraiser to help people who are battling cancer through the Temiskaming Hospital Community Cancer Care Unit.

The Friday the 13th tradition started in 1981. It was the same year that a group of head-banging teenagers had come together in Los Angeles to form Metallica. Despite a recent assassination attempt, the president of the United States was still Ronald Reagan. Pierre Trudeau was prime minister of Canada, while Bill Davis was premier of Ontario. The Rolling Stones were singing "Start Me Up" and "An American Werewolf in London" was playing in theatres.

Forget Us Not Memorial Ride

On June 7th 2014, there will be a memorial ride created by Ted Booth, a local rider who has lost a daughter in a motor vehicle accident in the summer of 2011, Amber. Amber and her dad shared a passion for motorcycles, he wanted to honor her memory with a ride. Let's show our support and ride as well. We all ride for someone we have loved and lost. This will be the 3rd annual ride. The ride begins at the Hawk & Fox Restaurant in Powassan at 9:30am. Just arrive before that time and receive a ride map showing the stops, fuel and food. The ride goes from Powassan to Burk's Falls then off to Nobel, up 69 to Grundy Park and back towards Restoule.

The 20th Anniversary and final year for the Papa Joe Ride will be held on May 24th, 2014.

Everyone will meet at the Metro parking lot on Lakeshore Drive and the Ride will commence at 9:00am.
